Madni Madrassah will remain closed on occasion of the following Islamic festivals:
|1||Yaum-al-Ashura||10th Muharram||One day|
|2||Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW)||12th Rabi-ul-Awwal||One day|
|3||Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW)||27th Rajab||One day|
|4||Shab-e-Barat||14th Sha’ban||One day|
|5||Ramadhan||–||The whole month|
|6||Eid-ul-Fitr||1&2nd Shawwal||Two days|
|7||Eid-ul-Adha||10th, 11th and 12th Dhu-al-Hijjah||Three days|
On the day prior to the festival, normal educational activities will not be carried out. Pupils will, instead, be educated about the significance of the festival. There will be no separate classes and all pupils will join together to listen to a collective seminar/programme. Parents/guardians will specially be invited to participate in this programme. In addition to this, invitations will be extended to all Muslims. If possible, light refreshment (food) will be arranged for the pupils.
There will be no additional holiday should the festival fall on a Saturday or a Sunday. In relation to the Eid holidays, the two days holiday (for Eid-ul-Fitr) and three days holiday (for Eid-ul-Adha) will be inclusive of Saturdays and Sundays.
During the annual summer school holidays, the Madrassah class timings in the Masjid will be changed. These classes will operate during the day time instead of the evening. These timings will be finalised after mutual consultation between the Management Committee and the teachers.
