Thornbury Play & Learn Nursery is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery catering for 2-4 Year Olds offering places for up to 24 children per session.

It is located in Bradford East on the Leeds to Bradford corridor.

The nursery is open Term Time Only.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for an experienced manager who has the ability to maintain our Ofsted Outstanding rating, working closely with our excellent staff team:

  • At least two year’s experience working in an early years setting at a senior level OR has at least two years other relevant experience
  • NNEB Diploma, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with good Maths & English
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Approachable manner with an ability to communicate and negotiate well with parents/carers
  • Passionate about the care of young children
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum & its implementation
  • Good working knowledge of the standards required by Ofsted
  • Sound knowledge of the SEN code of Practice and its application
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its application
  • Experience of implementing effective child & financial recording systems
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Good IT skills
  • Energetic & ambitious
