Madni Jamia Masjid is located in the heart of the Bradford community. The Masjid is known was its unique approach. The Masjid environment is warm, peaceful and welcoming, there is always someone to help visitors and guests.
In 2007, the Masjid came first from more than 1,000 others in the UK in a competition run by Islam Channel to be named Britain’s Model Mosque for its community work.
The Masjid is recognised by its distinctive dome and minarets. So much so that the Masjid was awarded for having the most beautiful
The Masjid is situated over three floors, the main entrance in on the ground floor, where there is a reception area to meet and greet, on this floor there is also a main prayer area where daily prayers take place. On either side of the prayer hall, their are classrooms which are used for madrassah teaching as well as adults classes. There is also a library on this floor which in currently being renovated/updated and it will be open to the public in the near future.

The lower ground floor has a main activities hall which can be used to hold children/young people’s activities, feed large numbers of people when there are events and for various physical activities recently used for archery. The lower ground floor also has a prayer hall and various classrooms to the side for madrassah classes and adult’s classes. The lower ground floor is restricted to females at certain times of the day to cater for the needs of the community. This floor is also used for funerals and has special facilities for preparing the body for burial. There is a lower ground office which is open at madrassah times.
The masjid also has a first floor which is mainly used for Friday Jumma prayer to house the large numbers of worshippers and also when there are community and religious events.
